MEET FLUTURA

“My studies in Massage Therapy began 12 years ago in my hometown of Madison, Wisconsin, and I have been in practice for 10 years.

I’ve shifted gears in a variety of ways over the years, which has given me the experience of working with a very diverse population of humans from all walks of life and careers who live with different stories and bodies.

I’ve settled on the notion that I am simply providing care through a unique experience of intuition in right rhythm with balanced tension. This is me meeting you where your nervous system is, which leads to a deeper connection with your own body. First activating intention with breath, following rhythmic movement and combining a hypnotic pace.

With deep structural modalities offered at a slow and mindful pace, to calm and subtle, I offer bodywork as an experience of listening and relaxing back into your most authentic expression. All in all,

I love providing people with a massage that transforms the way they have been feeling in their body and invites a yummy pause with a nuance of feel-good and effective techniques.”

MEET ANEKA

“My name is Aneka Otte, I am a licensed massage therapist and owner of Chariot Massage and Bodywork in Denver, Colorado. Connecting with my body and mind through movement has been a common thread throughout my life, and why massage therapy was a natural path to pursue. Growing up, I embraced every opportunity to be active, from dance, cheer, volleyball, cross country, karate, to Muay Thai. Out of all the sports and extracurriculars, Muay Thai holds a special place in my heart for the community I found through fighting competitively as a Thai boxer and working as a trainer in the gym. The rigorous training and discipline Muay Thai requires molded me as a person and remains an intrinsic part of who I am. Throughout and after college, I was drawn to the restaurant industry and enjoyed an 11-year career working with my hands, staying on the move, and most of all, offering hospitality alongside a good meal or well-made drink. I’m excited to continue to explore movement and extend hospitality to others, just in a different context.

I graduated from Denver Integrative Massage School where the varied curriculum allowed me to explore different massage modalities and consider all the directions I could take a massage therapy career. The training and guidance from my instructors with their different specialties and insights helped me connect to this work and establish my mission to meet people where they are at, in whatever cycle of life. While in school, Thai Yoga massage immediately drew me in for the dynamic quality to guiding another person through stretches while working the Sen, or energy, lines of the body. My affinity for Thai massage was no surprise because the feeling of moving barefoot on a mat, as a massage therapist or a martial artist, will always be comforting and grounding, especially in concert with another person. The connection I feel when working with my hands (and forearms, and elbows, and knees, and feet) allows me to hold space for whomever is receiving my work which  perfectly marries my love for movement and my mission to bring hospitality and healing to others. As your massage therapist, I hope to offer you relaxation and ease, and invite you to feel more connected to your body.

Wherever you might be on your wellness and self-care journey, I hope to be a resource to support you and your body, one more person in your corner.”
