SELF CARE AWAITS YOU

Welcome, and I am pleased you have found your way here in pursuit of self-care. Rest assured, you are in good hands. My name is Julie Gambino (she/her), and I am a licensed massage therapist, a reiki practitioner, and the proud owner of The Conscious Bodyworker.

I am from Kalamazoo, Michigan, where I spent my formative years before graduating from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in April 2014. Following my graduation, I embarked on a four-year journey in San Francisco, where I pursued a career performing and choreographing professionally.

My journey led me to Denver, where I transitioned into a career in massage therapy, a path that beautifully complements my innate connection to somatics. With a profound understanding of my own body, I felt a calling to aid others in finding connectivity within their own bodies. We often harbor pain and tension within ourselves, and massage serves as a powerful tool to release those traumas. Whether it be emotional pain or compensation patterns stemming from past injuries, massage can significantly contribute to the recovery process.

My goal is to guide my clients towards a state of relaxation, awakening them to their body's patterns and fostering a stronger connection to themselves. Prior to your appointment, I will check in with you, attentively listening to your goals, and offering suggestions post-massage to support your journey.

Under the tutelage of Dawn Lewis at Full Circle in Aurora, Co., I acquired comprehensive training in Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique (SMRT), achieving full-bodied certification. Additionally, I attained Reiki levels 1 and 2 from Kathy Sietos at Green Light Reiki in Denver, Co. My practice encompasses a variety of modalities, including therapeutic massage, deep tissue, swedish, scar tissue release, lymphatic drainage, cupping, and prenatal.

I derive immense joy from working with individuals from all walks of life, integrating therapeutic massage to facilitate healing and empower individuals to live the life they desire.
